Outsourced, Virtual CMO | 15 Years Experience

You do not need your CMO in the building anymore. A virtual, outsourced CMO gets you the senior head without the office or the full-time salary.

The cost case

A full-time CMO base runs $250K to $400K before equity and stock. Even at $500 an hour, a virtual CMO costs a fraction of that, because you are paying for the work, not the seat.

The work is front-loaded

The setup, strategy, tracking, channels, team, is intense for a couple of months. Then it settles into a lighter touch. That curve is exactly why full-time is overkill for most companies.

Remote works fine

Developers, PR, email, ads, all managed remotely. It also widens who you can hire, because you are not limited to your zip code.

One watch-out

Very physical or highly seasonal brands sometimes need hands on the product. If that is you, pick someone who gets up to speed on a brand fast.

If you want that senior marketing thinking without a full-time hire, that is exactly what I do as a fractional CMO. If you would rather just talk it through, book a quick call.
